• A Minister and a Rabbi Walk Into a Bar.....

  The saying goes you never talk about Money, Religion or Politics at a bar...However, in my experience, these are the topics MOST OFTEN discussed over drinks. So, on Sunday evening we have a very cool event planned. A local minister and Rabbi are doing a discussion group at our bar over some beers. It is a very open-minded, very cool, very calm, open discussion. The topics are still TBA and will be lead by both representatives of each faith. If you want to see what it is all about, want to join in the discussion, or just want a discount on your beer on a Sunday, come on down!

• Green Flash Beer and Cheese Pairing

  Many fancy restaurants host wine and cheese pairings...well, while I do enjoy a nice glass of wine, beer is our forte at The Lauter Tun. We have hosted a beer pairing in the past with Goose Island and it was awesome. We will be pairing 4-5 beers and cheeses in a way that compliments one another in some way, or contrasts in a unique and tasty way. The pairings will be ticketed as we only have so much cheese and so many sample glasses. They will go on sale very soon. Ask your bartender or server for details or email info@thelautertun.com
