Rob Roy
First created in 1894 by a bartender at the Waldorf Hotel in New York City, the Rob Roy is a cocktail similar to a Manhattan. The drink is named for the Scottish folk hero Robert Roy MacGregor. The Rob Roy is made with Scotch Whisky, originally Dewars, Sweet Vermouth, and bitters. Served up with a cherry.
